Why the MTG Mothman Secret Lair is the Scariest Deck in 2024
MTG met the scariest deck idea just as Secret Lair collabs went mythic, and Mothman became the year's hype monster. Players keep asking about this eerie commander that turns every game night into a spooky story.
Why the MTG Mothman Secret Lair is the Scariest Deck in 2024 is a tribal ramp deck. It blends insect tokens with cheap flying threats to swarm the board fast. This design hides recursion and evasive bodies that punish slow setups.
Early tempo spikes define why this build feels so threatening. You flood the zone with tokens, then push through damage before answers stabilize. Studies indicate tribal synergy plus storm variants increase explosive win rates.
Once the board swarms, winning turns into a predictable pattern. Opponents face pressure from turn four onward with few safe windows.
